Diversity, Equity and Inclusion


This is written in reference to the mandated: An open source education matter, addressing diversity, equitability and inclusiveness for Geotech University. Respectively, students aspire to engage in a culture of empathy, collaboration and respect–for all our faculty, and the communities at large; in which, we live and work. In our learning community there's a theme of belonging and psychological safety. We can partake in authentic learning approaches, risk-free and innovative opportunities for advancement.

Cultural Diversity 

With various approaches to teaching and learning, Geotech University must consider cloud collaboration, and foster a multicultural approach to meet the diverse learning styles.


Open Sources

Participation across the globe may offer a wide range of opportunities allowing contributions, in turn, an inclusive approach to communicating, collaborating, and decision-making. Our engaged learning community benefits from diversity, equity, and an inclusive environment.


Collaborative Platform 

Geotech University makes a difference in the lives of people typically by means of sharable resources. This means to be inspired while inspiring other people, globally.


Sponsorship Program

The Geotech University sponsorship program is achieved in an effort to improve resources in fairness, and equalizing opportunities for advancement. We value career development of high-potential underrepresented members, and capitalize on inclusive leadership skills among partner relations. It's ideal to differentiate grouping the team to collaborate on growth opportunities, expand networks, increase visibility, and advocate for future opportunities.


Opportunity for All

The Geotech University Open Source for Education (OSE) project seeks to reach across-community learning from different perspectives to the guided framework of the organization, to learn about the operating system, programming languages, and learning management system by means of diversity, equity, and inclusion.


Explore, Engage and Create.

Geotech University plans to work with "..the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source solutions—including Linux, cloud, container…," to create a learning management system that's an open source approach to education for a better and more inclusive experience for all users.


Partner Relations 

The open source model shows that incorporating diverse experiences and knowledge leads to better outcomes. Geotech University ’s communities make this possible through our efforts collectively. The purpose of this partnership is to identify opportunities, and support. The trends of growing utility of computer training, certification, internships, and the potential employment are included in the execution plan of the university.


Sustainability Awareness 

Geotech University  also participates in philanthropy through support of a nonprofit program, offering training with free, and open source software projects to close the disparities of social justice, and eradicate systemic bias, or discrimination in the technology industry of the participating country.


Capitalize on Research

The Geotech University learning community deserves to associate in equitability for comparable roles, skills, and experience. Respectively, availability of resources encompasses gender, race and culture; encouraging a creative, culturally diverse, respectful, and supportive work environment where learners have an opportunity to advance in rewarding careers. 


Credibility and Validity of Resources

It is crucial that the validity and credibility of resources are available to support the emerging utility of remote accessibility by community learners. A learning platform that offers the more diverse population to innovate, and contribute to the open source communities in which they participate.
