The Organizational Framework


Program Leadership

Executive Program Director

The single point of contact. Manages the budget, accreditation, and inter-institutional relations. Reports to the Geotech Dean.

Associate Directors (x2)

Two key roles manage day-to-day operations:
1. AD of Curriculum & Faculty
2. AD of Student Success

A Three-Tier Faculty Model

Core Faculty

Full-time Geotech faculty. Teach research/core courses. Handle heavy dissertation load.

Consortium Leads

Dedicated faculty from IIEP & NLPN. Lead the specialized concentrations.

Affiliate Faculty

Part-time practitioners. Teach 1-2 modules. Provide real-world context.

Case Study: The First Key Hire

Profile: Core Research Faculty

This role is foundational. We need a candidate who is a hybrid scholar-practitioner. They are not just a researcher; they are a master-mentor who will guide our students through the dissertation-in-practice.

Core Research Faculty: Responsibilities

  • Curriculum
    Design and teach the core research methods sequence (Qualitative & Quantitative).
  • Mentorship
    Serve as Dissertation Chair for a significant cohort of Ed.D. students.
  • Collaboration
    Work with IIEP and NLPN faculty to integrate research into all three concentrations.

  • Approve
    Approve the proposed organizational framework and faculty model.
  • Finalize
    Finalize detailed job descriptions for the 3 key leadership roles.
  • Launch
    Launch the digital job board and begin the search for the Executive Program Director.
